Have you read or seen the Lord of the Rings? By J. R. Tolkien? No matter, i shall typify this below and explain what i mean and what i am saying. This comes from the Fantasy genre even though as i will do shortly, i have come to find, it is very much reality to me and as real as anything is real to me. But i digress and the main theme must be developed, this is barebones as i get my blog up to speed and these stubs must get me started and to introduce myself to my dear readers. Must I have lived a previous lifetime? Or many? Or reincarnated many times or always have been an ancient or old soul? Have i always known i was an member of the Fae? Perhaps all of these things have been true and i must remember or re-member them all. Will you join me as I attempt to do so? (please start watching Lord of the Rings or Hobbit movies or read J.R. Tolkien or goggle Elves).It also helps to have an familiarity with fantasy, writing, and the imagination. To be sensitive more than most or knowing yourself to be always different somehow, someway(i have Aspergers and this typify that archetype as well, yeah, i am akin to Greta Thunberg!)
The archetype of the Elves is calm, steady, measured, and deliberate. to be a long-suffering ancient soul putting to song and tale one’s stoic perseverance on behalf of our better selves, our truest, noblest, highest selves. I need to manifest kindness, warmth, benevolence, humility, patience, forgiveness, love, compassion, and empathy. I need to speak truth and not peddle lies or cheap knock-offs. to be true to life is what i am aiming for as best as i can and as i only known how, to give the Good-Fight- of- Becoming-Better-By-the Fly-On-The-Cheap-Because i am in lockdown! i only have time to work on myself and plenty of time for that and thus this is blog is very timely, apt, and evocative.
I must be most like Elrond(or wanting to live up to his archetype) because i identify with his quality of wisdom/insight/healing/leadership. i need to be the man, the male Elf, i am meant to be and who i am most. Trump-like unpredictability, caprice, irrationality, hatred, are big No Nos with me. That what would be against what i am trying to promote, to embody, to typify, to characterize, and to personify . It also helps I am a writer, a storyteller, and have a poetic sensibility it would seem.

And for me, that means being a Elf in soul or spirit, or in affinity or identifying with, which is a subset of the larger rubric of the Fae. To be true to myself, to Thine self be true, i what i am aiming for and for me, that means being a Elven Light Being trapped in a human body, living a human, humanoid life but also being spiritually akin to being an Elven soul…
