Elves have an reputation for being private, introverted, shy and even reclusive and aloof. Elves like to be spend time alone contemplating nature and communing with each other and with staying in their wooded, forested enchanted realms. it is true that Elves are shy and even seemingly standoffish and stiff. but that is only because we cherish our intimacies very closely and tightly, and intimacy is precious to us. Staying aloof from quarrels and strife and corrupting entanglements of the human realm, but also making alliances with humans to fight in common cause against Orcs. but this is comparatively rare and mostly Elves stay in their realms while still working for common good and minding own business and remaining private and shy loners who don’t seek attention or fame or reputation. The enchanted realm is precious to them and to me, it must be guarded and protected and honored. but all are welcome to come and interact and be friends and allies and partners. Peaceful co-existence and this is best preserved by respecting the various realms and courts and laws and customs and protocol. To be invited to the enchanted realm is a precious and very much intimate affair, but it can be offered…if the other side accepts…but unconditional empathy is always shown and hospitality and good will is always shown and the courtesies are genuine and sincere, and everyone gets along and respects the realms…and Elves are very kind to all and compassion is what I value about being a Elf and privacy does not mean no entrance and introversion is simply another personality style, a particular archetype, and a certain energy field.

I don’t think Elves interfere with other species and realms all that much and staying aloof is simply another way of saying, “I greet you with peace and may the Light always be with you, and I am sure, we will be friends and all will be well and all manner of things shall be well…please enter and respect the boundaries of sacred space, and know we accept you and love you, and please pay respects to Elementals, to both light and dark beings, and to honor, protect, and guard Nature and the Earth we all share…all will know our hospitality and all manner of Creeds are honored…and please make peace with all you encounter….Peace we greet you and peace we offer and peace we share…”
