“Go not to the Elves for counsel for they will answer both no and yes.”
Getting a feel for the ambiguity/complexity of what I am trying to say?
You see the Elven way is truly balanced because if you ask us for advice we say both no and yes. Why does saying ambiguous or unclear answers convey wisdom? It conveys wisdom in that even the wise cannot see all ends…if Elves always gave clear black and white answers, it would be presumptuous and an interference with other species/spirits/entities natural development and order…avoiding giving clear no and and yes answers preserves the free will and freedom of other living beings…giving clear answers could disrupt the balance and order of things…because wisdom is a dangerous two edged sword…used in the wrong hands…it is a dangerous sword indeed and needs to be used with caution, grace, Enlightenment, and respect for free will of others…if for example an Elf or Fae used extra sensory perception to manipulate and trick others? It has happened many times before and this is Karma at work…words are powerful, even deadly things…words can wound…and words can also heal…the better one talks and uses words, the better conduct expected of oneself and others…thus often answering both no and yes is better. and kinder, much kinder, wiser, much wiser…i would think it shows as much, if not more kindness as wisdom…my friend Kimberley added love as well as wisdom to her High Elven channel….
“Go not to the Elves for counsel for they will answer both no and yes.”
